DTC Music Productions New York is extremely proud to announce the release of a new
album from New York jazz pianist Takeshi Asai. The album, which is titled "Quartet Vol. I"
is his forth album from the Fono Bono Records, 21st in his discgraphy, and the first with
his quartet.
The quartet features alto saxophonist Hashem Assadullahi, pianist and leader Takeshi Asai,
long-time collaborators bassist Bob Gingery and drummer Brian Woodruff.
The album consists of the original compositions by all four members, which adds
vivid colors and variations in style to the album.
It was recorded at Takeshi’s own DTC Recording Studio of New York in 2024.
Official Release date: November 1, 2024 in digital and as a CD.
